It’s Been One Year!

My blog turned one year old today! While I know I’m not the most frequent or consistent blogger, I enjoy this mode of connecting with the rest of the world. I always look forward to reading everyone’s comments. I’m still unsure on how to go about responding to your comments, unless I actually know the person’s email. What’s the “proper” way to do it? Should I add my response along with the other comments – do most people go back to check if the blogger has responded? Do I respond on the commenters blog if they have one? Is there a “proper” way to respond to comments? I have this feeling I’m probably making this seem more complicated than it is…

I should explain why it’s been over a month since I’ve last posted. I am the queen of procrastination! It all started with needing to get some models ready for a trunk show. I put that off until the last possible minute, and then I was scrambling not only to finish the models, but to get the trunk show packed up and shipped. Then I realized it had been over 2 weeks since I’d last posted, and so I put it off some more. Before I knew it, it was 3 weeks, then 4, and now it’s been nearly 5 weeks. Then today I realized I’ve been blogging for one year, and decided I wanted to do something to celebrate, so knew I had to post right away!

To celebrate my blog’s birthday (or is it anniversary?), I’m going to have a draw. The lucky winner will receive a surprise package, just in time for Christmas (hopefully – I’m not sure how slow the mail will be getting in the next while). Just email me to enter your name in the draw. I will draw a name on Monday, December 3 to give everyone a few days to get their entry in. In the meantime, I’ll get back to designing, and figuring out a way to keep me blogging regularly.
