I decided that the perfect pick-me-up for the gloomy, rainy day that we’re having today, is to start a pretty spring design. With the colors and fabric picked, I’m all set to start stitching 2 designs from the Spring Bulbs issue of Linen Scenes. It’s all DMC floss, and I’ll be stitching on 28 ct Summer Sky jobelan by Wichelt.
Now for the contest: I need some help deciding on fabric and floss for a new design. Pictured to the right are my choices. On the left side is Wichelt Lambswool (28ct jobelan), using DMC Variations 4210; on the right is Wichelt Plum Blossom (28ct jobelan), using DMC Variations 4150. Which do you like better? Everyone who responds (either in the comments, or by email) will be entered into a draw for some stitching goodies.

I personally like the left with the DMC Variations.
Days can always be made better when you start something new!
LOL!
I really like Wichelt Lambswool (28ct jobelan), using DMC Variations 4210 because I love bright colours and I love the colour maroon.
I think the 4150 would have a really classy look.
A touch of class is always nice.
I prefer the lambswool & DMC 4210 – the colours are going to stand out; the other choice looks to be very muted, maybe a darker fabric would look better with the DMC 4150.
Hi olive,
I like the one on the left with the red floss. It is a lovely colour.
Fatema.
I like the plum blossom and 4150.
The other looks great, too, but I love this one!!

I really like the plum blossom and DMC 4150.
I like the left choice better, Olive… but it really depends on the design
I love the plum fabric… it will look gorgeous with that DMC Variations…. Have fun!
